Intro to Sewing classes are offered every Wednesday. Must make an appointment for the one hour class. Store hours are from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

In the class you'll learn how to:

* Locate and use all the parts of the sewing machine
* Properly thread a sewing machine
* Adjust the tension and stitch length
* Sew at different speeds using the pedal and presser foot
* Experiment with various machine stitches, basic tools and fabric terminology
* Try simple sewing techniques that will help you make your first apron, tote bag or other easy project
